TYLDESLEY footballer Ella Toone has launched her own brand as huge billboards have gone up across Manchester.

Manchester United footballer Toone, who became a household name following her equaliser in the Women's Euros final last year, announced the launch of 'ET7' earlier this month.

Launching the brand ahead of Manchester United's Premier League game against Chelsea on December 6, huge billboards of Ella's trademarked brand have been seen across the city.

With "loads of exciting things" coming in the new year, the brand will launch the 'ET7 Academy' dedicated to women's football, as well as Ella-branded accessories and an online store.

On a Youtube video announcing the launch of the brand, Ella said: "[The billboard was] right outside Old Trafford on a game day is special, and all the United fans can see it.

"I'm so so happy with it. Keep your eyes peeled, we've got loads of exciting things coming up, especially the launch of the ET7 Academy in 2024."

Following the Women's Euros win last summer and the narrow World Cup final loss this year, Ella has become a well-known figure in the women's game, but is someone who has never forgotten her Tyldesley roots.

After the Women's triumph last year, Ella returned to her local pub, the Union Arms in Tyldesley, to celebrate with family and friends, while she is also known to drop into her old school at Fred Longworth to sign autographs and chat to budding footballers.

Ella also plays her home games for Manchester United Women at Leigh Sports Village, although her early goal was not enough to grab any points against Liverpool yesterday afternoon (Sunday, December 17).

Ella and the United team currently sit in fourth place in the Women's Super League.
