A FAMILY run travel agency will mark its fifth anniversary with a special celebration in Leigh this weekend.
Launching inside Spinning Gate shopping centre on April 13, 2019, Jetz Travel has sold countless holidays to loyal Leythers over the past five years, from visits to the Northern Lights to safaris in South Africa and everything in between.
From the get go, the Brooks family and Jetz team say they were amazed by the interest and eagerness for Leythers to support a new local business.

Even through the challenging times for the travel and aviation industry during the pandemic, the Jetz team said that the loyalty of their customers has been one of the store's greatest assets.
With the business' growth taking the team by surprise, they quickly recruited further "exceptional" team members and extended their Spinning Gate unit to meet the demand.
Due to their continued growth and success, the business also partnered with Leigh Leopards and became their official Travel Partner and shirt sponsor for 2024.
With Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) opening the shop five years ago, another Corrie actor, Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor), will mark the fifth anniversary celebrations this weekend (Saturday, April 13).
The action-packed day will also include coffee and cake, prosecco and pizza, and visits from Leigh Leopards' mascot Leeto and club cheer leaders.
With more than 200 years of experience in the travel industry, the Jetz team pride themselves on being a "fun travel agency" with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
The team say they love passing their knowledge of the industry onto their customers to suit their holiday needs, from long-haul flights to city breaks or cruise travels, and love hearing about their experiences on their return.
