THE council has apologised to residents whose bins were not emptied as planned.
Warrington Borough Council has also issued an important update to households whose recycling was not collected today, Friday.
Due to ‘operational issues’ a number of households in Great Sankey did not have their blue bins emptied.
Refuse teams have not given residents a new collection date, with it being requested that bins are left out on that day.

“We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
