AN award-winning company has celebrated its 10th anniversary this month.
Launched on Norweb Way, off Butts Street, in 2014, Paws Doggy Care has been a popular spot for families who need people to look after their dogs.
With a fully qualified team providing a range of activities and training in a safe environment, the centre was named as Greater Manchester's 'Most Trusted Canine Day Care Service' in 2020 and the 'Pet Day Care Service of the Year' in 2021.
The business also boasts a 6000sqft indoor play arena and half an acre of play fields for dogs to use, and Wigan Council also rated the facility with five stars after inspecting the premises and standards.

To celebrate the business' decade in operation, the team held a special event earlier this month.
This included party games for the dogs including birthday present scent boxes, doggy jelly and ice cream plates and bobbing for treats and party bags for all the dogs to take home.
Owner Steven said: “We are immensely proud of our dedicated team who continue to improve paws and make it a day care dogs can’t wait to get to in a morning, some of the dogs within our care we have seen grow from tiny pups to well rounded happy adults.
"We love our job and our extended furry family. [...] As all small business owners know, it’s hard work running a business with ups and downs, and when lockdown hit we were all uncertain [about] what the future held.
"Once we could re-open, we were all so happy to see everyone return."
Since launching the doggy day care business, Dylan has laso launched the sister business 'Woofington's' pet shop next door, which sells a range of natural treats, raw foods and premium cooked foods.
Woofington's is also about to open its third store in Pemberton Wigan.
