BURGLARS are reported to have smashed through patio doors to break into a property in Leigh.
On Monday, September 16, Greater Manchester Police put out an appeal for information regarding a reported burglary on Nel Pan Lane.
The incident is reported to have take place in the early hours of Friday, September 13, with suspects reported to have "used a rock to smash through the patio doors", before stealing contents inside the property.
Police say that the victim was not home during the incident, and are urging anyone with any information to come forward while they investigate.

As the darker nights are approaching, officers have also warned the community to implement security measures such as security lights, alarms, and sensors around the household to protect themselves from theft and burglary.
