A HONG Kong family have brought an authentic and delicious taste of home to Leigh market.
Formerly working as a leather crafter and in an office, Sam and Doris Fong Po Shan switched from Hong Kong to the UK two years ago.
After being welcomed into the local community, the couple wanted to share their food and culture and so launched 'Sam's Kitchen' in Leigh market back in August.

Providing popular Asian cuisine and authentic Hong Kong street foods, such as char siu pork, chow mein and bubble waffle, the stall has been going down a treat with Leythers since Sam's launch.
With each dish cooked fresh each day, there are a whole range of tasty Asian options such as beef stir fry, Japanese fried chicken, crispy barbeque pork belly, and various rice and noodle dishes.
Daily specials are also on offer and Sam and Doris said they love the vibrant feel of Leigh market, and the response that their food has had with Leythers.
Doris said: "We have had a lot of support from the council to open our stall here and we love the energetic feel of the market, with lots of younger and older people all coming to try different stalls.
"We have been really busy since we opened and people tell us that they think the food is amazing, and they can't believe they have an authentic Asian stall here in Leigh."
With options to sit down and takeaway at 'Sam's Kitchen', Sam and Doris aim to continue refreshing their menu to keep things fresh and exciting for their growing customers in Leigh.
And as Leigh Market is set for a well-needed refurbishment as part of the town's wider regeneration plans, the family also hope that they can upgrade their stall in the future to have more space and meet the already high demand.
"We already think that we can upgrade to offer more food and take our business to the next level", Doris added.
"But we have had a great experience so far, we are loving it here!"
