A TOWN centre pub is continuing to enjoy busy weekends and a lively atmosphere in Leigh.
Located opposite the historic parish church on Market Place, the White Lion has been a long popular drinking spot in Leigh town centre.
With the Market Place boozer enjoying a large refurbishment job following a month's closure early last year, the team have been able to retain their regular customers and encourage more drinkers into the town centre spot.

This offer includes DJs, live singers, and karaoke over the weekend, which encourages a lively atmosphere, while the pub's regulars as well as darts and dominoes teams also help to support the pub during the week.
With a range of cask ale, lager, cider, and spirits available, the boozer also enjoys busy spells when it broadcasts live sports, particularly when Leopards matches are televised or are playing at home.

"We always have live entertainment on at the weekends so we are usually very busy, and especially when Leigh are playing.
"Things have been tough with the prices rises and wage increases but we haven't had too much of a dip, and we try out different deals and live entertainment to encourage people to visit."
