A PUB has reopened with a bold new look following a major refurbishment.

The Parsonage officially welcomed back customers on October 24 after a six-figure investment transformed the venue into a brighter, more modern space.

Located just a short walk from Leigh Sports Village, the pub now features an open-plan restaurant, an extended bar area, new furniture and a refreshed colour scheme.

Josh Powell, general manager at The Parsonage, said: "We are delighted to be unveiling the Parsonage’s brand-new look and feel this October following a month-long investment.

"We know how much the pub means to the local community, and with a revitalised interior, a delicious new menu and an upgraded sports offering, we are here to serve up fantastic experiences to guests of all ages, no matter the occasion.

"Come on down and visit us today."

The refurbishment includes a self-serve coffee machine and upgraded TV and sound systems for an improved sports viewing experience, with access to Sky Sports and TNT Sports.

A new darts lane has also been installed for guests to enjoy.

The autumn menu features Crispy Chicken Strips Nachos, The Smoky Rancher Burger and a Katsu Curry Feast.

The pub now opens from 9am daily, offering breakfast options such as the Big Brekkie Roll, Waffles Benedict and a Frozen Smoothie Bowl.

To mark the reopening, The Parsonage invited local residents Thelma and Bert Tolley to cut the ribbon.

The pub also made a donation to Leigh RUFC as part of its ongoing support for community initiatives.

The Parsonage is planning a full calendar of events in the coming weeks, including children’s Halloween breakfasts and a new general knowledge pub quiz every Sunday.

It is part of the Hungry Horse chain, owned by pub company and brewer Greene King.

The Parsonage is located at Parsonage Retail Park.

More information and booking details are available on the pub’s website.
