A PROPERTY in Golborne has been issued with a closure order following disturbances reported to Greater Manchester Police and Wigan Council.
The Golborne and Lowton Neighbourhood team have been working in collaboration with Wigan Council after a stint of problems in the local community, caused by the property.
A full closure order was granted on the May Street property in Golborne by Wigan Magistrates' Court, which prevents any access by any persons for a three month period.
Any breach of the order will result in arrests and further action by police.
This comes after reports of anti-social behaviour and criminality, which have caused problems for people in the local community, police say.
In a post to social media, a police spokesperson said: "We want our communities to feel safe and be free from criminal behaviour, nuisance and disorder and we will continue to take action against those who prevent this.
