LEIGH band The Lottery Winners have poked fun at an advert in Manchester Airport’s terminal three, highlighting what they described as "such bad AI."

Thom Rylance, who performs vocals and guitar for the band, posted a tongue-in-cheek video to social media calling out the billboard, which promotes the airport and reads: 'There’s over 200 reasons to fly from Manchester Airport'.

"Can we talk about this for a minute?" the indie star said.

"Cos this is a giant billboard at Manchester Airport, right, and it’s such bad AI.

"Like, look at this picture here, this photographer.

"Look at him pointing.

"Well riddle me this.

"Whose hand is that on the camera?

"Whose is that?"

He also took aim at the use of artificial intelligence in creating the image, questioning the airport’s decision not to use real models or photographers.

"Manchester Airport makes £1.3bn a year," he said.

"Are you telling me they couldn’t afford a photographer and some models for this?"
