A FREE film night raising awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is set to return.

The ninth annual MND Awareness Film Evening will take place at Birchwood Park on Wednesday, June 17, at 6 pm.

Organised by the South Lancs Branch of the MND Association, the event aims to educate and bring the community together to support those affected by the disease.

This year, the popular musical film 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again' will be screened.

Although the event is free, attendees must book their tickets via Eventbrite for catering, safety regulations, and room capacity.

The film night is open to all, not just those working at Birchwood Park.

The venue is fully accessible, and entry, parking, a choice of a beer or a glass of wine, tea, coffee, and cinema snacks are all included at no cost.

On June 21, the buildings on Birchwood Park will be lit up again in recognition of Global MND Awareness Day.

For more information and to book tickets, visit the Eventbrite page.
