A POPULAR garden is gearing up for a summer filled with creative fun and outdoor exploration.

RHS Garden Bridgewater is welcoming Brick Explorers, a programme filled with activities aimed at piquing curiosity about nature and wildlife.

These activities are scheduled to run from July 18 to August 31.

Visitors will have the chance to explore a Brick Explorers sculpture trail, where they can discover brick-built wildlife sculptures hidden around the garden.

The mission is to find these sculptures, collect their superpowers, and match the stickers in the activity booklet.

The trail, which runs daily from 10am to 6pm, also aims to educate participants on how to support garden wildlife and create thriving habitats for nature.

For those with a knack for creativity, a Brick Explorers build station is set up, offering a drop-in session from 11am to 4pm.

Participants can help transform a grey city into a greener, more wildlife-friendly space with their own nature-inspired brick creations.

The build station will be open from July 18 to July 24 in the Marquee, and every Tuesday to Friday from July 28 to August 28 in the Learning Studios.

An interactive theatre experience, Buzz, will also be part of the summer programme.

The 20-minute shows, which start at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, will take place on July 25 and 26, and on August 3, 10, 17, and 24.

The experience, put together by the Colour the Clouds Theatre Company, promises an immersive storytelling adventure with Betty the Beekeeper, teaching the importance of biodiversity.

All these activities are included with normal garden admission.

The RHS is also supporting the Great British Summer Savings campaign, which offers savings on RHS Garden admissions and lower prices on children’s meals in all RHS Cafes and restaurants.

Standard garden admission for children aged 5–16 starts from £5.25, while adults start from £13.75.

Visitors travelling without a car can save even more, with 30 per cent off garden admission.

RHS Garden Bridgewater is accessible by public transport, with the Bee Network 33 bus offering regular service between Manchester city centre and the garden.
