PROPERTIES have been left without electricity following a power cut.
There are 40 properties in Hindley, affected by the outage, which was first reported at 1.37pm today, Wednesday, July 29.
The power cut was caused by an unexpected issue with an underground cable.
Electricity North West has said a team will be sent to the scene, and estimates that power will be restored by 7.37pm the same day.
In an online statement, Electricity North West said: "We are sorry you are experiencing a power cut.
"We are currently investigating the issue."
Postcodes currently affected by the outage include WN2 3BN and WN2 3BQ.
