Located at Astley Green, the Astley Mining museum brings Lancashire’s coal-mining heritage vividly to life, telling a story of hard work, innovation and the deep sense of community that shaped generations.
Its location on Higher Green Lane also makes it an excellent starting point for the walk up and down the canals, the lifeblood of the coal industry.
