WE'VE been back in our archives this week and found this fantastic snap from the 1950s.

The photo depicts a staff party at L.U.T. (Lancashire United Transport) in Atherton.

Archive records state the photograph was taken in 1950.

Lancashire United Transport (LUT) was a tram, bus and trolleybus operator based at Howe Bridge, Atherton.

It was the largest independent bus operator in the United Kingdom until its acquisition by the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive in 1976.

Can you help provide information on who is in the picture?
