A WIGAN grandad has won £10,000 a month for a year on The National Lottery's Set For Life after reinvesting a £1 prize.
The lucky player scooped the life-changing prize in the draw on Monday, August 10, after winning £1 in the previous draw on Thursday, August 6.
He now plans to use the money to enjoy more holidays and treat his family.

The win will give him a total of £120,000 over the course of the year.
But the Wigan winner came remarkably close to an even bigger prize.
He said: “Winning £10,000 a month for a year is amazing but I was so close to winning £10,000 a month for 30 years and I just missed it by one number!”
Despite his near miss, the grandad said he intends to continue playing the National Lottery in the hope of landing the top prize.
Caroline Talbot, Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, congratulated the Wigan winner.
She said: “Congratulations to our lucky winner on his fantastic Set For Life prize.
