CHARITY champions are appealing for further support for their latest collection.
The Leigh branch of Soroptimist International are calling for unwanted bras to raise cash for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
They have organised a third collection on Saturday, September 17, from 10am - 4pm in Bradshawgate.
Members have been amazed at the response so far to turn grey bras green and raise pink pounds for the charity.
President elect Lynda Parkinson said: “We would like to thank everyone who has supported this campaign. The response so far has been fantastic.”
Collection points for unwanted bras are avaialble at any time during trading hours at Bon Marche, in the Spinning Gate Shopping Centre, Viva Fashions on Bradshawgate and Local Mobility on Market Street.
