TYLDESLEY Little Theatre open their new season with the dark comedy Natural Causes.
The show opens on Monday, October 1 then runs from October 3 to 6. There is no Tuesday performance at the Lemon Street theatre.
Written by Eric Chappell and directed by popular theatre member Bill Rogers, Natural Causes promises dark comedy at its best from the writer of TV’s ‘Rising Damp’ and TLT’s previous hit comedy ‘Summer End’.
The plot revolves around Vincent, played by Mike Jeffries, a seedy character with an unusual occupation: he’s making the most of the discovery of a painless poison! But trouble arises when he is asked to offer his services to someone who isn’t in on the deal! Expect wicked one-liners and sinister situations in a combination of laughs and thrills that make up a play that promises to be a great success.
Award nominated actress Carly Lomax appears and shines opposite popular veterans Garth Waddup and Ian Taylor, who always enjoy sparring with each other on stage, and Joan Rogers, wife of the director, no less, follows up memorable character performances in ‘Ladies Day’ and ‘Come Blow Your Horn’.
TLT continues to be a friendly, welcoming, theatre offering quality entertainment to the local community and beyond at prices that defy the recession!
