ADRENALINE junkies across Leigh are being urged to leap out of a plane for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.

Those with a head for heights are invited to join 39 others for the hospice’s annual sky dive at the Black Knights Parachute Centre near Lancaster on Sunday, June 7.

Last year, 39 people took part jumping out of a plane at heights of between 11,000ft and 15,000ft to raise a total of £11,310 for the hospice.

Christine Edwardson, hospice community fundraiser, said: “I did the sky dive myself last year and it is the experience of a lifetime.

“I can honestly recommend to anyone thinking of doing it to stop thinking and sign up now – you won’t regret it.”

Seven people have already returned their deposits meaning just 33 places are left.

To sign up email c.edwardson@wlh.org.uk or call 01942 525566.

A minimum sponsorship of £400 must be raised by everyone who takes part.
