A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Debbie Twist has been bailed.
The grandmother-of-three was stabbed to death at an address on Manchester Road, Leigh on Sunday.
Shortly before 8pm, police were called by the ambulance service to reports that a woman had been stabbed at a property.
Officers attended and found the body of a woman who has since been formally identified as 47-year-old Debbie Twist from Leigh.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Meanwhile, a 37-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been bailed pending further enquiries.
A family tribute to Debbie described her as "much loved" and "a friend to many".
