Tyldesley 29 Ormskirk 9
TYLDESLEY enjoyed a bonus point win over Ormskirk on Saturday.
With the game four minutes young, a Dickinson kick bounced unkindly for Lloyd but thankfully into the arms of full back Wallbank for him to cross.
Bongs were unable to turn their pressure into points until Dickinson crossed from Worsfold's gap-opening ball, Wallbank added the extras.
Ormskirk converted a penalty, but it was Tyldesley who furthered their lead before half time through Fetherston from a driving maul, before Wallbank added three points from a penalty.
The visitors' response after the break was quelled by a strong defence from the hosts, limiting Ormskirk to two penalties.
Tyldesley would not be denied a bonus point, thought, when Brown crashed over late on.
