VANARAMA North outfit Curzon Ashton visited The Kensite Stadium in an hastily arranged fixture and were rather fortunate to return to Tameside with a 1-1 draw.
Colls were in tremendous Form in the opening period and Jordan Cover’s 20th minute goal following a neat 1-2 with Lucasz was scant consolation for their efforts.
The second half was more even but the Nash are plying their trade three divisions higher than Michael Clegg’ s side so they certainly didn’t lack quality.
The equaliser came with virtually the last kick of the game and although it took a little gloss of the evening it didn’t diminish anything from the Colls display.
