Tyldesley trio
TYLDESLEY girls triumph at Inter Regional Under 14s Water polo competition playing for the North West in Walsall.
Eva Howarth , Hollie Toone and Izzy Rob all from Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo club were representing the North West of England against all the other regions and Scotland.
In the group games North West beat South East 8-5, East Midlands 9-2 and East 10-3.
The following day North West were drawn against London in the Semi Final and won by 7-3.
In the final North West played against the other unbeaten team North East and came away with a 7 to 4 victory.
Tyldesley’s Hollie Toone was awarded the Most Valuable Player for the North West team.
