TEAM Leigh boxer Will Hewitt impressed in his first international tournament representing England.
Competing in the GB Junior Championships in Motherwell, Scotland, Hewitt beat current Scottish 46kg champion Craig Kerr on the Saturday, then in the final was opposite four-time National Scottish Champion Lennon Mulligan.
In a very close bout the Scottish boxer took the decision 3-2, Will being awarded the Silver Medal.
A great performance and experience for this talented young Leigh boxer.
