LEIGH Centurions have confirmed their 21-man squad for the first Betfred Championship home game of the 2020 season against Sheffield Eagles on Saturday, February 8, 2020, kick-off 3pm.

Two players who missed out at Dewsbury because of illness and are waiting to make their senior Leigh Centurions debut - scrum half Jarrod Sammut and prop forward Mark Ioane - are included.

Winger or centre Liam Forsyth is also included in the squad for the first time in 2020 as is Lewis Bienek, who is with the Club on season-long loan from Hull FC.

Any debutant selected for the 17-man squad on Saturday is in with a chance of claiming a significant milestone - Leigh Centurions Heritage Number 1500. Last Friday, seven players made their Leigh Centurions debut: Cameron Scott #HN1493, Ben Hellewell #HN1494, Nick Glohe #HN1495, Danny Addy #HN1496, Matty Wildie #HN1497, Alex Gerrard #HN1498 and Callum Field #HN1499.

Full-back Gregg McNally will be hoping to score at least a point as he nears the 1,000 career point milestone. Currently, he's on 999 points.

Leigh Centurions opened their 2020 campaign with a hard-earned 36-10 win at Dewsbury last Friday.
