Q: Talk us through that performance - It must have been the best of the season?
AL: Definitely, and one that we needed as well.
We've been working really hard as a group to get to this point.
And obviously with some bodies back in over the last couple of weeks, it's been important that we build momentum and had a loss a couple of weeks against Hull KR and in the last seven games we've played away from home as well.
It's been a difficult last two months.
And we've only lost to Hull KR, so I think today was necessary if we wanted to progress into the top six at some point in the last 10 games.
Q: That is eight wins from 10 now – that is some run, isn't it?
AL: Yeah, that's right and we haven't been at home.
And we've got the last seven out of 10 games at home there, but we needed to do something at some stage, and I think today it was a must-win for us, so whether it was two points or 20 points, whatever it was, it's grateful.
Q: Does it really feel like a bit of a statement then to come here and put on a display like that?
PR: No, it was more about ourselves, to be honest with you, and I think we've played well in the big stadiums in the last four or five years.
I think we're undefeated at Magic, which is good.
So that's a great sign for the team.
I thought our preparation was really good this week, and we needed to be.
Warrington had a couple of injuries, which is what we had when we played them at the start of the season.
So I know exactly how that feels, but we needed to put something together there.
And I think we probably could have gone on with it a bit more, to be honest with you, but I think that still keeps us in seventh place doesn't, but two points closer to the sixth.
Q: You adjusted the squad today and the bench maybe it looked a little bit lightweight, but it didn’t prove to be?
PR: Yeah, well, I think we had a couple of niggly injuries as well in the game, and Robbie Mulhern didn't come back out for the second-half of the game.
Joe Ofahengaue was taken off as a precaution because of the calf with 30 to go.
Tesi Niu came off with around 30 to go, so we only had one player on the bench, so we had to try and rotate them.
Then Isaac Liu was cramping up as well, so I thought it was a tough performance in the second-half and they still didn't break our line as in our D-line, it was an intercept that got the points.
I thought we were courageous how we hung in there and a lot of people out of position just got the job done.
We're fortunate, grateful to be a part of all of this, you know, the atmosphere was unbelievable and just echoes and dressing rooms are fantastic, so to come here on this day and on a big stage and win it, it's a great day.
Q: You mentioned Tesi’s injury there, it comes with Sam Powell’s apparent hip drop. What was your take on it?
AL: I coached Sammy for a couple of years.
He's not that type of player, but it didn't look good.
That's out of my hands now, but I was frustrated at the time because he called it a knock on when I thought it should have been a penalty, so luckily they would have reviewed that he got the penalty for it. So I'm sure he's going to face the process.
Q: And with the connection with Liverpool, your mum is from here so how special is it to be here?
AL: Yeah, it's good my mother was born and bred here in Liverpool. When I was growing up in Australia, her parents, (my grandmother and grandfather) used to send me two separate flags every year for her birthday one was an Everton flag, one was a Liverpool flag.
So it's nice to come here and down the road actually from where she grew up.
It is jJust the stadium, just the weekend, the Magic Weekend is a festival for fans and it's an opportunity to bring everyone together that loves our sport and then we get a chance to promote it in a different city, in a different stadium.
We're grateful for that too.
Q: What was your take on the shot clock for Adam Cook’s timed out goalkick - the first time we have seen it this year?
AL: I know the rules, so it wasn't a surprise, but what was frustrating was no ball was given to him as they would usually be given to for a ball boy.
But I remember the referee looking around and then stopping the clock and calling to bring the ball out for the kick and tee.
The I believe that you have to go and get the ball sorted and organise yourself before that gets.
I don't know why you wouldn't be allowed to kick.
A fine would probably be better than no awarded points.
What if the score was a bit closer towards the end there and we needed two points to win?
It'd be interesting then.

Q: Even at 24-0 there was a real determination there with your defence, with your tackling, you're almost celebrating those big shots at the end as if they were tries.
AL: It's something we've talked about recently.
It's a good point because we've tried force mistakes through our defence and we did that tonight probably for the first time all year.
So they had some injuries and people out a position themselves so they were a bit clunky at times.
But that second-half there, we only had one sub I think that we could rotate for different people on positions.
So some players played some big enough minutes and we've had to do that during this year.
