THE funeral of Mick Martyn, Leigh's all-time record try-scorer, takes place tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon at Saint Lewis' Catholic Church, 86 Mustard Lane, Croft, Warrington, WA3 7BD.
Mick, who was ranked as one of the greatest players ever to play for Leigh, passed away at the age of 81 after a short illness.
The second row forward served his home town club loyally for 14 seasons, scoring 189 tries in 329 games.
And at international level played a key role in Great Britain's 1958 tour of Australia and New Zealand - an Ashes winning team.
