LEIGH'S search for a new head coach is getting closer to reaching a conclusion, head of rugby, Chris Chester has confirmed.
Centurions are seeking to the fill the post ahead of the Championship campaign after the departure of interim coach Kurt Haggerty.
Leigh have continued to announce playing recruits, but Chester explained that a coaching appointment could be imminent.
He told Journal Sport: ”The search is on going.
“But I have interviewed several really good candidates and we are looking to make a decision at the back end of this week or early next week.”
