LEIGH Leopards have confirmed a 22-man squad to face Warrington Wolves in the Ben Currie Testimonial game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 5.30pm.

It includes seven former Wire players and two born in the town, while Papua New Guinea international hooker Edwin Ipape is set for a run after missing the 14-12 win against Leeds Rhinos last month.

Josh Charnley, Robbie Mulhearn, Jack Hughes, Oliver Holmes, Matt Davis and Jacob Gannon all featured for The Wire in 2022, while another ex-Wolves player named in the match squad Gareth O'Brien and Ed Chamberlain both hail from Warrington.

Joe Mellor, another who is Warrington born, and Keanan Brand, another signed by Leigh from The Wire, are not selected.
