I AM an atheist who has never believed in anything superstitious or mythical.
Reality is my byword.
Setting that to one side, let’s look at our Prime Minister Theresa May.
Brought up in a vicarage as the daughter of a church elder, she pontificates on human values and wants everyone to be part of a more equal society where we all benefit, not just a select few.
She said that and then contradicted herself on the same morning.
She and her Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond announced that public health workers would receive only a one per cent increase in their wage, describing that as generous.
Later that morning she was asked why she had sanctioned a 43 per cent increase to one of her national health oligarchs when she was offering just a one per cent rise to doctors, nurses etc.
She replied that she had to offer 43 per cent to retain the services of the oligarch because of his expertise.
I have often described her as a chameleon going through the multi-coloured swap shop, constantly changing.
How can anyone trust this hymn-singing hypocrite?
Please resign Mrs May.
