FRANK Parkinson commented in a letter in the Journal on June 29 that Theresa May only spoke to the officers on her brief visit to the London tower block tragedy.
I don’t think I would hang around too long if a hostile mob was intent on causing trouble.
Mr Parkinson also mentioned Jeremy Corbyn ‘was there immediately hugging the grief-stricken’.
It is a pity he didn’t extend that compassion to the families of soldiers and civilians killed by the IRA, which Mr Corbyn is known to have supported.
