This is a true Collector's item, a deluxe 16CD and digital collection gathering together the Beach Boy's earliest A and B sides along with some surprises.
Lavishly packed in a wood inlaid box decked out in a surfboard and hot-rod inspired red and yellow design. The CD's also come with a 48 page hardback book with a sand-like finish.
In total there are 66 tracks, featuring the band's iconic summer soundtrack singles. Surfin' Safari', Little Deuce Coupe', Surfin' USA', Fun Fun Fun', I Get Around', and even the Christmas hit Little Saint Nick'.
Each single comes with a digipak with the original artwork faithfully reproduced.
The extra tracks include alternative versions, stereo and mono mixes and live tracks - and for good measure there are a few previously unreleased tracks.
All in all a superb package, and one which provides a unique insight into the development of this innovative band.
