A HOYLAKE man has been charged with robbery and posession a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after a pharmacy was held up at gunpoint.
Philip White, of Queens Road, appeared at Wirral magistrates court today, Friday, following an incident on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, January 4.
The charges follow an incident at Higher Bebington Health Centre on Brackenwood Road at around 10.20pm on December 1 in which a male armed with a handgun reportedly entered the pharmacy and threatened staff before making off with a quantity of medication.
