Police seized a baseball bat during a stop and search
A BASEBALL bat was seized from a man when police carried out a stop and search.
The bat and a substance, which police suspect was heroin, was seized by officers on Napier Close, St Helens on Tuesday,
A 46-year-old man yesterday was arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and also possession of an offensive weapon.
He was questioned by police and has been released while the investigation continues.
