Bolton Lads and Girls Club is inviting football-mad youngsters to join weekly sessions aimed at all ages and abilities.
The club’s fully-trained instructors run sessions for children of all ages and abilities throughout the week at the Spa Road centre, with trophies and special awards up for grabs as well as a place in one of the teams.
Wednesday sessions on the astroturf run from 4-5pm for under-7s, and 5-6pm for u10s. Membership is £5 and £2 per visit.
Saturday sessions run from 9.30-10.30am (sports hall for u5s, astroturf for u8s), 10.45-11.45am (sports hall for u6s, astroturf u9s), and 12-1 pm (sports hall u7s, astroturf u10s and u11s). Membership is £5 and £3 per visit.
BLGC also runs deaf football sessions on Mondays, 4-6pm for 7-11-year-olds, and for those with learning difficulties on Thursdays from 4-6pm for 14 to 21-year-olds.
BLGC football development leader John Wolfe said: “Our football sessions are a great start for young people who want to start playing football, and we cater for everyone – no matter what their age or ability is, we want to give them the chance to get involved and enjoy the sport.”
