IT was with fear and trepidation that I approached another of George Lucas's attempts to relive his past glories.
His deeply flawed Star Wars sequels felt like a cruel attack on my childhood and if he destroyed Indiana Jones too I would have been distraught.
Thankfully Steven Spielberg was on hand to deflect some of the insanity – but not all of it.
Set in 1957, with scary Commies as the enemy, Crystal Skull sees Harrison Ford teaming up with Shia LeBeouf to try to find LeBeouf's mother in South America.
All the usual Indy elements are there, providing just as much fun as they used to. The stunts are as ridiculous as ever and the eponymous hero can still pull it off.
If it wasn't for the completely bizarre background story this would be the perfect ending to the box set.
