A CHARITY gala dinner will mark the 100 day countdown to the Rugby League World Cup to raise money for the legacy fund.
Taking place on Thursday, July 18 at 7.30pm at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, guests will enjoy a three course meal hosted by Brian Carney.
And organisers are hoping businesses will support the event in big numbers.
The World Cup Legacy Fund will support future sport and physical activity projects across Warrington, specifically projects that encourage people to take up sport for the first time.
The fund can be accessed by existing community and sport groups, or to help set up new teams or clubs.
Tickets are £35pp (only for those aged 18 and above) or £325 for a table of 10.
