SONNY Bill Williams (right) was among the stars of the New Zealand Rugby League World Cup 2013 squad to speak to young St Helens rugby players at Langtree Park this afternoon in a Q&A session.

The world champions visited Saints' stadium in a drive to take the tournament into the community.

They chatted with youngsters from squads across St Helens about what it takes to be a top athlete.

One youngster Connor Seddon, aged nine, who plays for Haresfinch, said it was a "great chance to meet his heroes".

The Kiwis arrived in St Helens this morning, taking part in a weight session at Saints' Cowley training base.

They will continue to train at the Hard Lane base in the coming days - as they build up to their opening game against Samoa in Warrington on Sunday.
