A CARE home celebrated its first birthday last week in style.
Lakeview care home on Ena Crescent in Leigh held a party which included a range of stalls, a petting zoo and singer Katie Mustang also performing on the day.
Everyone at the event were served with ice creams as well.
The Exemplar Health Care-operated home looks after patients who have suffered strokes and brain injuries.
People with Huntington’s disease, mental ill-health, autism, learning disabilities and early-onset dementia are also cared for at the facility.
There is also a community space called The Hub which will be used by charities, social workers and community groups.
