AN arts and crafts retailer is to open a flagship store at Bents Garden and Home.
C-Crafts has become the latest retailer to sign up for space in the upcoming expansion of the centre in Glazebury.
C-Crafts is currently operating from 14 locations across the UK but the store at Bents will be the first of a new, larger format for the group.
The retailer is the brainchild of former Hobbycraft chief executive Chris Crombie. He said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to open our first superstore at Bents.”
As part of their £8m development, which forms the latest phase of a larger plan, Bents is creating an additional 50,000 square feet of retail space which will be host to a number of new retail units, including a children’s boutique and the doubling in size of their pet care department, with plans for a groom room and pet café.
Managing director at Bents Matthew Bent, said: "We are very pleased to welcome C-Crafts and we are confident their arrival will further enhance the Bents’ experience.”
C-Crafts are currently recruiting their store team, to apply email bentsjobs@ccrafts.co.uk.
