GALLAGHER Peacefully on 11th May 2016 at her home on her 70th Birthday surrounded by her family BARBARA the beloved wife of the late Hughie, devoted mum to Carol, Bernard, Lynn and Jason, adored nan to Garry, Lyndsey, Lauren, Danielle, Ryan, Aaron, Niamh, Caitlin, George and Jack, much loved great nan to Jay, very sadly missed by her partner Ivor, dearly loved by Stan, Rita, Suzanne, Stephen, Russell, Sue and Emma. The funeral service took place today Thursday 19th May 2016 at St Joseph's RC Church Leigh at 10.00am prior to committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium Atherton at 10.45am. Donations if desired for cardiology/MAU department at Wigan Infirmary care of the family or Paul Dainton Funeral Directors. To Carol Bernard Lynn Jason and all of Barbara's family this was very sad news indeed sadly I only found out the news on the evening after the funeral service as did my sister and brothers we would like for you to know that the death of Barbara has saddened us all and that you have all been in our thoughts during this inevitable time in life. Being out of the social scene in Leigh has meant i personally haven't bumped into Bernard Carol or Jason as I used to our parents had naturally assumed we would know but on this occasion we didn't but our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you experience a time in life I am personally dreading. I hope you all find strength in each other as you always have as a family Barbara was the hub of you all she may have passed but every day you grow closer is testimony that she lives on through you.
