Jason Isaacs is set to play a baddie in Gore Verbinski’s new supernatural horror movie.
The 51-year-old star, who played the menacing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, has joined the cast of A Cure For Wellness as a director of a European “wellness spa”.
Dane DeHaan will star as an employee sent to rescue his boss from the treatment centre, before realising he is trapped in the sinister facility.
Nymphomaniac actress Mia Goth also stars as a patient, who Jason’s character has dark designs on.
Production on A Cure For Wellness is expected to start in Europe in June.
Jason, who won a Critics’ Choice Award for his performance in Lifetime’s Stockholm, Pennsylvania, last appeared in David Ayer’s wartime drama Fury alongside Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Logan Lerman.
