THE pies have come!
That familiar shout from Journal-land's western frontier could be heard a little bit nearer Leigh following a pie-up between Poole's bakery and Wigan Metro's catering and services provider MetroFresh which means school pupils across the borough will be able to tuck into their favourite pies.
Debbie Clarke, Service Manager at MetroFresh said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to educate young people in product development and we are keen to work with Poole’s and pupils to devise a healthy, tasty product for our schools."
