THE Turnpike needs you to help it celebrate a landmark anniversary.
Formed 30 years ago, the Turnpike Community Theatre is calling on all its past members and people from the community to join in with their birthday production.
The family orientated play based on well-loved fairytales will be led by actor and director Colin Kilbride who has started working with the group on the development of the script.
Chairperson Gill David said: "I can hardly believe that it is 30 years since the first Turnpike production and I am so happy to see that we continue to be a thriving theatre group.
"We always welcome new and old members to the group and this anniversary year would be a wonderful opportunity to call on any member of the local community who would like to be involved in this special production."
There will be a meeting for anyone interested at the Twelve Apostles Club in Westleigh on Thursday February, 13, from 7.30pm or for more information contact Gill on 01942 603195.
