HEALTH care providers and residents can help the council save money by returning equipment it has loaned to them.
Wigan Council’s Integrated Community Equipment Service loans out more than 20,000 pieces of equipment each year to people with various health issues or disabilities.
About a quarter of the equipment is not returned, costing the council and the taxpayer thousands of pounds.
Equipment can be handed it in at the store on Martland Mill Lane, Wigan, or by calling 01942 737777.
