The fault should be fixed soon according to Electricity North West
A FAULT at a substation has left 170 properties without power in Hindley Green.
The power has been out on Atherton Road and Thomas Street since 12.43pm but Electricity North West has got engineers on site with a generator and has said that the electricity will be back on soon.
Hindley Green Community Primary School and St John's CE Infant and Junior School have asked parents to pick up their children from 2.30pm where possible.
