SEVEN people have been arrested after a fire destroyed a historic building in Tyldesley.
Offenders broke into Chaddock Hall on Chaddock Lane at around 7.30pm on December 4 and set fire to items within the property.
The blaze then spread to other parts of the hall before the fire brigade were called.
No one was injured.
Seven boys, aged between 11 and 15, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and have been bailed until January 30.
