Redditch 2, Leigh RMI 1: LEIGH'S topsy-turvy form continued when they wasted a chance of pulling away from a relegation rival.
Inconsistency has been the hallmark of recent displays and this was no exception as they were as disappointing as impressive in the midweek win over Blyth Spartans.
Although Kevin Rapley scored his third RMI goal in the second half, earlier Redditch strikes from Scott Rickards and veteran striker Carl Heggs ensured another defeat.
The defeat puts greater emphasis on Friday night's "six pointer" at home to Vauxhall Motors, a team just one point ahead of Leigh.
