Auction date for church fundraiser
ASTLEY and Tyldesley Methodist Church in Elliot Street is holding a cash only auction next Saturday, February 20, to raise much-needed funds.
Goods including dining room furniture, lounge furniture, recliner chairs, china and electrical goods will be available, as will hot food like pasties, hot dogs and bacon barms.
The doors will open at 11am for viewing, the sale will start at 12.30pm and catalogues costing 50p can be bought on the door.
