SIX people from Tyldesley have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Ten individuals across Greater Manchester were charged after police searched 15 properties in a crackdown on organised crime.

The warrants were executed as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime groups in Salford, after detectives identified a criminal network involved in drugs supply and money laundering.

Mark Smith, 26, of Lune Street, Tyldesley, has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on April 7.

Four other men from Tyldesley – Jamie Grundy, 23, of Prospect Street; Jake Barratt, 26, of Wardley Road; Callum Green, 23, of Lever Street; and Daniel Smith, 22, of Linton Road – have been bailed to appear in the same court on the same date.

Stacey Bradley, 37, of Wardley Road, Tyldesley, appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday.

Four men from Salford and Timperley were also charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and have been remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on April 7.

Two further people arrested have been bailed pending further enquiries.
